I just got my new travel zoom lens... I am a big fan of Nikon lenses, but looks like this new Tamron 70-300VC outperforms Nikon 70-300VR that I had for many years as my travel zoom, especially at the long end wide open. I am very picky about the quality and resolution, so my old Nikon lens is sold on eBay and here is the new telephoto zoom in my travel bag! It doesn't really match my pro level Nikon 70-200VRII that I use for weddings, but considering weight and extra reach - it is a very nice piece of glass, especially for the money... :-)

After a crazy wedding week (4 weddings in 1 week!!!) - I finally found some time to relax today and enjoy the beautiful colors of New England's fall at our local lakes... Enjoy... ;-)
